Terms and Conditions

PRODUCTS 
CROÍ MEALA does our best to ensure the images of our products to give you a good indication of their true likeness.  However, please note that images are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to photograph products accurately, as each item is handmade to order, it is not possible to accurately reflect each individual characteristic.  Colour, size and texture may vary from piece to piece.  Your product therefore may vary slightly from the image displayed on our website.  We consider these differences a unique quality of a handmade object.
MADE TO ORDER
All of our products are made to order.  This is to ensure a fully sustainable production system that eliminates unnecessary waste.  Each product will take approximately 4-6 weeks to be produced and delivered to you.  We cannot guarantee this timeframe due to material lead times of third parties.  If we think delivery will take longer than estimated, we will communicate this to you as soon as possible after your order has been placed.   Once your order has been placed, products will be placed into production almost immediately. 
DELIVERY
We endeavour to dispatch goods within 4-6 weeks.  We ship all orders through registered, recorded delivery with DHL, and are happy to help with any urgent delivery requests. Please ensure that someone is present to accept and sign for your delivery. We will send you a message by email to tell you when we have dispatched your order, also providing tracking details.  We are pleased to cover all taxes and duties on orders going to the EU. At this time, we are unable to cover taxes and duties for orders to other destination countries, and these will be your responsibility.  We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs authorities in the destination country.  If the items should unfortunately become lost, damaged or delayed during the shipping process, we take no liability as these circumstances are beyond our control.  Shipping options for insurance & signature on delivery are provided at checkout. If the parcel does become lost, delayed or damaged, please contact the postal service immediately.

We ship all items securely with UPS and PostNL Tracked.  Please see our standard delivery prices below.  
Netherlands : €6 (2-3 business days)
Rest of Europe: €11 (3-5 business days)
UK and Ireland: €7 (3-5 business days)
Isle of Man: €7 (4-7 working days)
Australia: €14 (10 business days)
New Zealand: €14 (10 business days)
United States: €14 (10 business days)
Rest of World: €14 (10-15 working days)
Please Note: International orders may incur local duties and taxies.  We cannot predict these charges and they are not included in your order.  They will need to be paid locally upon receipt. Please contact your local customs office if you require further information.
SIZING & STYLE
It is your responsibility to correctly select your size and style. We do not offer refunds if you change your mind about a style or if you have incorrectly selected your ring size.  Our website offers UK and EU sizing options.  If you use an alternative measuring system, please use an online convertor.   If you are unsure of your ring size, please get in touch and we can send you out a ring sizer. Alternatively, you can visit a local jeweller to get your correct sizing or download a ring sizing app on your phone. 
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
We endeavour to keep the prices of goods updated and accurate, though from time to time there may be inaccuracies or changes to our prices. Changes to prices will not affect any order you have already placed. Prices for our goods are subject to change without notice.  In the unlikely event that a purchased item is priced incorrectly on the website, we will not send your order until you have confirmed that you accept the new price or if you wish to cancel your order. 
The price of a product does not include delivery charges.  Our delivery charges will be advised during the checkout process before you place your order.  We accept all major credit and debit cards, which are clearly shown at the checkout. We also accept payment via PayPal. When selecting the PayPal option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to review the amount, before completing the transaction and being returned to our website.
You confirm that the payment method used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
RETURNS
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return your order within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or full refund. Regrettably any returns received outside of the returns window will be refused. 
The return will only be accepted if the product is in the original state and doesn't show any marks of being worn. Please include all original packaging in a proper state. If it shows that the item has been worn or is in poor condition the return will be denied. 
In the case of a bespoke product that includes personalised engravings or bespoke details we cannot accept a return. We also cannot accept returns of earrings, according to best practice hygiene standards.
Items must be returned to us at CROÍ MEALA, Amsterdam, no later than 14 days from date of delivery.    Please email hello@croimeala.com  with the details of the return and why prior to posting.  We will acknowledge this email and confirm the return and address of the item.  We aim to process returns within 3 working days of receipt, however during busy periods it may take us a little longer.
When sending your return, please include the text “return shipment to origin” on the outside of the parcel to ensure the goods are not held in customs. We cannot be held responsible for any mislabelled returns.
We are currently unable to cover the cost of returns however we can cover the cost of exchange shipments within the EU.
In the case the Goods received are faulty: you must inform us by email at hello@croimeala.com, including all details of the order and defect or other reason for return. The goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered. Goods returned will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
CANCELLATIONS
Purchases cannot be cancelled more than 24 hours after the order is placed.  If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us via email within this timeframe. 
PRIVACY POLICY
We take your privacy very seriously.  Personal data will only be used to process your order and will not be shared with third parties. We do not store debit and credit card details.
CHANGES OF THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Please review our Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes that have been made.
